sudden, we have all this freedom, all these choices. Hello everyone, we are a family of 4 and just bought our first trailer! We
are very excited and ready for adventure! My husband used to camp with his
family when he was young and decided that he wanted to create some of the same
memories with us. We have our first trip planned to Disney the middle of Feb.
Any advice you can give would be GREATLY appreciated. We are leaving NJ early
and staying over in Georgia. We have driven to Florida before but never with a
camper. I look foward to hearing from you! I have been reading some literature on Ethos Fuel Reformulator and they are touting it as increasing gas mileage by 10 to 15 percent. Has anyone tried this product? How did it work and would you recommend it for RV use? Although I'm an Ethos distributor, I don't really sell it anymore. It has
improved mileage on all but one of my five vehicles, and it has excellent
lubrication properties when used in the crankcase. It also has been proven to
reduce emmissions. I was wondering what kind of gas milage do folks get with newer Class c's? My old 79 dodge with a 440 gets between 7 and 8. I went to look at new ones last week and the guy didn't really know what his new ones got. He thought maybe 11 or so, But I'm sure he was guessing. Many different claims on milage. I think it has a lot to do with size-wieght how heavy your foot is etc. I have a 26 footer with a slide and get mid 8's if I drive the speed limit. Ford V10 not towing. Hi we have a 27ft C with a cummins diesel that gets 11 to 13 depending how fast we drive, Speed seems to be the biggest factor in M.P.G. We usually drive 65 pulling a toad on level ground gets 11.5 to 12. speed an mtns. the mpg really take a hit. Just got back from a short trip to warmer country. 1000 miles @65 MPH produced 8.6 MPG.14 to 15 mpg with toad (about 2500 lbs.). 16 to 17 mpg without toad. Ours gets 9.5 when not towing and that is mostly interstate at 65-70 mph .... probably be a little higher at lower speeds I'm new here. We are looking to purchase a new Class C motorhome. I have
never owned one, only a 24' travel trailer many years ago that I loved. We are
trying to decide between 27 and 29 feet and also what brand. I love the
Winnebago 29' BT Cruiser but it is a bit more than I really wanted to spend.
Also looked at a Gulfstream Ultra 27'. It was nice but had a chair instead of a
sofa in the living area.
